I've read that cops have actually gone on strike in NYC, and major Canadian cities many years ago. Kind of back fired though. The crime rate went way down in a day or so. Seems good people, seeing there was no "law" to get in their way, decided to clean up their neighborhoods, by getting rid of the local dirtballs. The criminal element went into hiding, until the strikes were over, and their "rights" were restored.
Another stat I read is that the doctors in Canada once went on strike, for higher wages from their socialist medical system, for over week. The result was that during the strike, the average daily death rate, dropped by more than 50%!
