Ever heard of the "Buffalo Soldiers"?

the 10th Cavalry Regiment of Black soldiers --- 150,000 joined up, to prove they were just as blood-thirsty as their white masters in stealing, raping & murdering native Americans without mercy.

As former victims of racism, the Buffalo Soldiers became the champions of rape, genocide, brutality and mass murder of innocent people. They took pride in killing people who never did anything to them.  

They forgot all about the help the Native Americans gave because slavery had become a violation of Law.  The Choctaw, Cherokee and Shawnee helped them escape from their slave masters to the north.

It also ended in parts of Europe less than a 150 years ago. The Turks enslaving Europeans. However, it was a long time ago and has nothing to do with modern Turks.

And in Arabia, slavery ended in the 1960's and 70's and in the African state of Mauritania in 1981. No outcry over this.
Workers are still treated similar to slaves in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

It's true that America had slaves, as did every civilization since the beginning of time. Slaves are mentioned in the Bible. And it's true that there are Blacks still being held as slaves, primarily by other Blacks. What makes America unique is that over a half a million lives were sacrificed in a war that ended slavery.

By the end of the Civil War, roughly 179,000 black men (10% of the Union Army) served as soldiers in the U.S. Army and another 19,000 served in the Navy. Nearly 40,000 black soldiers died over the course of the war—30,000 of infection or disease.

yeah, You are right that link is probably shit when it comes to exact historical numbers.

My point remains though... that EVERYONES ancestors (Indians, Blacks, whites, Asians etc) have been involved in or done some terrible things throughout history or been on the receiving end of it at some point. Manipulative Politicians & people will try use history to gain power or resources from others through guilt or turn groups on others through festering resentment, blame, entitlement...but in reality you are I or anyone else, cannot be held responsible or made to feel accountable somehow for other peoples behaviour or failures, or even the bad things your leaders or politicians have done or will do. That's on them.

These are things you and I had or have no control over...
