While amazing in 1981, I still think that it was Tom Platz's show that night.

Padilla or Platz winning in 1981 would have been fine. Columbu winning was a travesty.

Roger Schwab, former head judge of the IFBB, has said that Danny Padilla was the most complete bodybuilder he has ever seen.

I saw Danny guest pose in the early 80's. He had perfect proportion's and was huge. I would guess he was around 200lbs, but looked a lot bigger.
