What does an upstanding life have to do with him being able to make it in the majors?  From purely an athletic standpoint, either youre cut out for pro sports or you're not. Obviously, sport teams also want a player who is upstanding, however, you can be a major criminal, and still flourish in the NFL or any professional league (if a team wants to take that chance).
