Good point and failing to understand what makes females tick will result in piss poor results with the babes.

But things change with age.
For example, I was amazed at how good the pickings were after my last divorce.
I'm nothing great, but in all modesty had a lot more going for me then I first realized.

I was in my mid 40's , with my own house, stable career, worked out and still had my hair.
The dating scene was wide open and internet dating ( match.com) was awesome.
In my mid 40's I was able to date a wide age range  of attractive ,classy women.
This wasn't the case in my 20's.

As an established mature man, I was able to attract more mature woman with good careers.
I quickly learned that a woman over 30 with a good career isn't interested in most  old gym rats in their 20's.
They make their own $$ and want an equal partner .

My wife is close to my age and like me was divorced.
She's pretty and was an executive VP in leasing and capitol for a major bank.
Like me , she wanted someone she was attracted to, but other things counted a lot.

When you're a young gym rat, getting laid and having fun is what matters.
Plus, you want to prove you're the alpha dog with the other dudes.
This is natural and had my time on that level.

Our lives have different chapters and you need to embrace them all.

I thought more like the avg 20 something get bigger  30-40 years ago.
So, I'm not going to shit on their lifestyle or views on females.

They can say what they will about me, but here's the deal:

Many of these young get big  studs, will end up in the typical unhappy marriage with kids.
They'll be 40 with a bitchy wife and snot nosed rug rats sucking the life out of 'em.
Add to that being stuck in a career/job they hate, to finance their personal nightmare.

They'll long for their youth and the old days of lifting with hardly a care in the world.
For whatever reason(s) they won't get divorced end up having some affairs.

Their wife will know it and she'll check out emotionally.
Our hero will feel trapped in a loveless marriage with no joy in his own home.

Maybe, just maybe, they'll vaguely remember my words of advice.
For a brief sec, they might even agree with me and wish they had listened.
They'll shake that off and say Fuk that old fag, he's probably dead by now.

Having left get big years ago, they return and see "Howard" still posting the same crap in 2030.

At a Vegas Pool Party?  

Yes, on the party scene , superficial stuff tends to rule the day.
Dudes want to have fun and hook up .
I did some of that too in my 20's , so I won't poo poo it now as an old fart.

It was fun, but more of a meaningless blur now that I reflect back.
Building a life with a woman I cherish and having a nice home blows the party scene away.

I didn't believe THAT when the older gym bros told me  in my 20's.
I suspect most here will scoff at any insights on love and life I might offer.
