theory on training and splits
« on: January 04, 2017, 06:50:09 AM »
i basically just do these things now.

1. hammer press chest machines with heavy weight for low reps, or heavy dumbell flies in mod rep.
2. sumo dead lifts to max out and a few moderate rep regular deads. if lazy i do weiged pull ups
3. a shoulder movement
4. cardio
5. stretch/foam roll

1. i dont hate the gym anymore. i dont need to worry about sets n reps or dont need to worry if i "annihilated my delts"

2. i dont do deads every day, but the rest I do. my physique is shit compared to most getbiggers, but i feel my look is so much more powerful now and my chest which has always sucked, seems to improve each week becoming more full and dense.

has anyone else really just trained delts, chest, and a full body movement like deadlifts, and experienced good results? i honestly feel like immhaving fun again in the gym. trying to go heavy and hit PRs, not worrying if i hit my arms from various angles or delts , etc.

less is more. i bet you will have more energy putting into those gym and because of that the result getting better. with few exercises you already see the end of the workout, not like its endless, and you can put more into it.

its important that going to gym doesnt feel like a chore.

the other day i was considering buying a training journal, then i realized i train so few exercises and the way i train, i dont have to write it down.

what happened is that a LOT of us grew up reading weider mags and got the "hit a bodypart once a week, brother" bullshit that plagues a generation to this day

Fact is training needs to suit you
