Competition Coloring (protan/dyoderm?) Suggestions
« on: April 18, 2006, 11:11:37 AM »
Last year my color wasnt dark enough.  I used protan, but probably didnt put enough coats on.  What happened was, after 2 or 3 coats, more coats of protan wouldnt stay on.
What do you guys do for your color?
Has anyone ever use a mixture of protan and dyoderm?  How did that come out? Whats a good ratio of dyoderm to protan?  What is the color like (reddish, orangish, greenish, etc.) when protan and dyoderm are mixed?
  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Try spray tan. Not the machine spray tan but try to find a salon in your area that actually hand spray brushes it on to you. Its the most even tan ive gotten and the more coates the darker.  They have different shades as well.  Go with the darkest and wait a couple of days and repeat.  The downside is it cost around $30ish a session.  Some places have packages that are cheaper.

My suggestion is if you tan, get a good base.  If you won't tan then start Pro-tanning on Wed, take a light shower Thursday, another coat thursday night, shower Friday, 2 coats Friday night, get up Sat and 1-2 more coats then maybe dream tan.
