« on: January 21, 2017, 01:01:50 PM »
Let's say that the Republican party was going to win regardless, who out of these bunch of clowns and asshats would you rather have had for President?

Fiorina?  Failure kunt exec
Rubio? Spic loser
Bush? Do I have to say anything
Cruz? Asshole of Assholes
Carson?  Seriously
Christie? Another asshat

Pick your poison but out of this bunch obviously the best person won.

I'd say any of those, except maybe Carson.

Nah, Carson too.

I think Marco Rubio would have slaughtered Clinton but for the fact he was so wishy washy. He kept on appeasing the libitards with immigration reform, etc. I agree with DJT, the borders need to be secure. If you are here illegally, you have to go back to whatever country you came from and re-apply to come here legally. Stop all Federal funding to Sanctuary cities. Also, get rid of ACA ASAP

They honestly had none. Trump was the best they could offer because he didn't get too wrapped up in the heavy moralistic religious dogma that the Republicans always get caught up in. He framed himself as a pragmatic, moderate Republican with a streak of nationalism, and that sold well now that we've moved so far left.

Kasich would've been the only other option. I thought for a second there he would get tipped for VP when it was almost certain Trump was taking the nomination. Then he held in there on some thread of hope he could still be the nominee. Way to go dude.

Kasich is a closet Dem. Very liberal in his thinking. I think DJT is more of libertarian. Fiscally responsible, but obviously considering his own fucked up personal life, not that hot and bothered by the church and moralistic dogma. Personally, cut taxes, keep jobs in this country (that are not going to be automated anyway), strenghten the military, and minimize government interference in health care. After that, I can give a shit if Joe and Jacob want to get married. Not my business anyway.

This is like saying my sister would be a great guy, except she doesn't have a cock?  Little Marco failed on the issue deciding America, conservatism and Republicanism.

Both Cruz and Trump were the only ones who could have beat the democratic nominee. They are the only two who have shown extreme backbone/tell it like it is attitude. None of the others could have withstood the attacks from all angles.

Looking at the way you're labeling it sounds like you would have voted for Clinton. Tell us why.

Doubtful. Cruz had zero backbone when challenged. He wanted to please everybody and when he caught some flak he usually backed down. Trump on the other hand doubled down and nothing ever affected him.

Hmmm..Cruz is/was hated by the politicians as Trump is/was and he has a great record for being a thorn in the side and standing up. Never heard of him being accused of being a people pleaser. He is known for trashing both parties and spending hours defending his positions on the floor, etc. and calling it like it is.

Unfortunately, Cruz couldn't click with the people.

Probably has more to do with his appearance than his politics.

Didn't Cruz cheat on his wife?

Weren't Cruz and Mrs. Cruz big time Bush W staffers (that's how they met) secretly?  The whole christian BS is all a ploy to ruse the low IQ voters.
