I have the same problem, except mine is the left arm, right lat and right hand (which the pinkie n ring fingers are numb and the muscle between the thumb n index finger is about 50% strength. Took me months before I could turn a car key or door knob "normally")... Nerve issues suck, and I don't know anybody who's had neck or back surgeries who's been happy about it.

Correct, said new surgery will go in via front of neck, put a spacer between the discs that are collapsed on the nerve. Doc told him 50/50 chance of fixing the issue.
Better than not trying I supoose...

Had the exact surgery, titanium discs at three levels and through the front of the throat, not back of neck. Will help with his pain and there will be some recovery to the weakness and atrophy but you never get it back 100% and im 8 years post op.
