I used to smoke the cannabis to the point where I tried it right before a workout. Did not go well, could not really get into the mindset for hard training. I was too chill to get aggressive with the weights.

Mt training partner and I used to go to the Scottish bodybuilding championships afternoon prejudging every year from the 80's till mid 90's and then drive the 50 miles back home, buy a litre bottle of Vodka , mix it with a litre of orange juice and go training. By the end of the workout we were as pissed as fuck. 10 pints of guiness at the local pubs followed by a few fights and we would usually wake up in a field the next morning. No need for weed to have a good time  :D

Alcohol has a quite few benefits as well. Maybe the next I bench or squat I should just bring a flask of JD instead of water...lol.

As far as the steroids, I agree 100%
