There was something exploding in the room he was in  ???
Americans are notorious for using gas in ovens etc. Heat could have made the pipeline blast. Don't know if gas is used in skyscrapers though.

Does not look like a man to me.  Looks like a curtain or jacket.  Fire builds pressure.  The window was compromised and poof, out comes the pressure.   ???
