I worked out in the same gym as this one dude I knew as a gym bro.
I saw him once just ahead of me to be seated at a Ted's Montana Grill.
So, I asked him if he wanted to eat with me and he informed me he was waiting for someone.

I ate alone and noticed nobody came ,so he was alone at his booth.
I'm pretty sure he just didn't want to eat with me?
Maybe , it was bad enough just seeing me in the same gym?

I suspect he's not the only one that feels like that?

Are you happy and content with YOUR life?

I see and hear a lot of guys out there, living lives of "quiet desperation".
Yup, I got divorced a couple times , and now I'm married to my dream girl.

Unlike some men, I refused to stay with a woman that tried to pressure me into a lifestyle I'd dread.
The first one wanted kids, 2-3 years into the marriage. I never did and refused to be manipulated into having them.
Now I see unhappy ,divorced men, who had kids with a woman and seem miserable.

They often meet the ex-wife, on weekends, at some Mall or fast food parking lot.
The kids get switched out with them for the weekend and she looks like a resentful bitch.
He often looks beat down and cringes as the kids are loud and obnoxious.

I don't know how or why, so many men just "take it" .
Why do so many men allow a woman to pressure them into doing things they don't want?
From having kids to taking jobs they hate, I've seen plenty of men just going along with her. WTF?

At my wife's Christmas office party I met a real pathetic character.
He was a CPA with a decent income and worked out.
After a few drinks he confessed he hated his marriage and his 12 yr old son was a spoiled brat.
In fact,  he last had sex with his wife 7 years ago and they slept in separate rooms.
Why he stayed married was a real mystery to me.

I know many of you have lampooned and insulted me , claiming I'm some lame cuck.
Trust me, I'm polite, but I refuse to allow any woman to pressure or manipulate me into things.
I've walked away from more than 1 woman who tried and never had any regrets.

I had a conversation yesterday with a younger guy in the gym, a protégé of mine, who is having serious problems with his woman, he txt me for advice and it more or less went the way you are putting things Howard/Wes. My last text to him was this:

'I think you should sit her down and say that there's not going to be any more going around in circles, that you are willing to make a go of it and be happy with her but she has to understand its a two way street and not to take you for granted, it's about mutual respect and if she cannot put effort into ensuring you are both happy then she can live with joint custody and €30 a week maintenance'

Edit: They have a 3yr old boy but aren't married

No,you'd say this is my friend from the gym and we work out together sometimes.

...but you were probably not with your family but with your tow truck driver friend.

Except for the fact he didn't walk over and say ''Hi''.we were in the same restaurant last week.I didn't see him but he said he saw me.he didn't come over because he wasn't sure it was me.
I guess all those times we worked out together and he still cant recognize me :-\

What restaurant?
