Who would be pushing for something like this?  Which political party gets 90% of the black vote?

The idea of a police force reflecting the population is ridiculous. That would mean that the half of every police force would be comprised of women.

The only reason for this diversity drive  is that you have a primarily white police force arresting a primarily black criminal population. It doesn't look good. So instead of addressing the problem of black criminality. They address the problem of too few blacks on the police force.

It doesn't work. Plenty of black cops in Baltimore. It's still a crime ridden  shit hole.
