He was totally unprepared for the job and not willing (and no doubt not capable) of putting in the effort.
A few months into the job he was quoted as saying he misses his old life and thought being POTUS would be easier than his old job (which at that point was branding his name and filming a reality TV show in his apartment)
When dealing with people in his own party not to mention other world leaders he's totally lost and everyone who interacts with him knows it

That was the epitome of fake news and then one day Trump just decided Obama really was born in the US and... end of story. No apologies. No Admitting it was all bullshit.

I understand what you're saying. I'm right there in many ways. Sometimes I'm reminded of that guy who ran BP (don't remember name atm, don't care to) who, after his crew created a hole in the ocean floor they had no hope of fixing, could only mourn for his previous life of fucking around the world having fun.
