What's he got to lose?

He shows up and competes and places poorly in a contest in which nobody has any expectations of him to do well.

Don't like his look due to synthol in his arms but I also don't get all the talk about ruining his legacy. He will always be remembered as one of the best of all time and nobody could take that away from him. Anyone who is expecting him to look like he did in the past is a fool anyway but no matter how bad he looks on stage it has nothing to do with his former achievments.
