I used to really look forward going to the expo with my friends and kids. we would get into the convention center parking lot really early, getting a close up parking spot. and start drinking. I would bring a big ice chest filled with rolling rock beer, and we would open our first beer by 8 am.
we would enter the expo, start filling up out bags with free stuff. some years we would walk away with over twenty t-shirts. muscle tech was big back then, lot of shirts from them. the kids would do all of the events and contests, and everyone had a blast. we never once watched
the contest, as we really didn't care who won. afterwards, we would go get a nice meal at a hole in the wall called the 4 kegs, then hit the hotel and hit the pool and jazzui.
but the last time I went about three years ago, it was not the same. my kids were older now, my friends didn't want to go, so it was more subdued.
now I would not go to Vegas if you paid me. nothings cheap, pay for parking, no food deals anywhere. traffic, bums everywhere. forget about it.
How can you make me pay to park my car in your hotel?
what the fuck??? its not the money, as I have lots of money, its the principle.
