Some of the exercises he promotes I feel strongly for, underhand grip shoulder-width pull-ups and the dumbbell bent-over rows for upper back are great for me.

I still follow one of his training routines......he knows his shit.  It was when every post of "great" info became an infomercial for something that only he sold or he had a vested interest I lost interest other than to laugh.

I'm sure he made a killing training people for a decent price............things slow down, the new great training is one set per bodypart, whole body workout, every day.............things slow down, stand on a big rubber ball and use only bands................... ...

Bands are a great accessory to training, but won't replace weights, the resistance curve is not appropriate.......

Maybe things were slowing down, not enough traffic on FB for his business, so....................al ong comes Beefyheavyweight to get Hernon's name back on a forum.

Marketing 101.  And yes, I jumped in too!  LOL

I know many hate the man...for whatever stupid reason they have. Internet gossip...second hand info....whatever. But I have spent quite a lot of time watching his short rants and informative youtube videos and I gotta say...Phil has some of the best info and insight into training and diet on the web.

Opened up my eyes to a ton of stuff that I have implemented into my own training and have gotten incredible results fron a lot of it. And this is after my 34 years of training. So instead of just bagging on the guy and listening to haters...try to just watch his videos. Even the ones that annoy you...just keep moving on until you get to the good stuff. I will start with a good one in which Phil talks about his daily 1 set per bodypart high rep to failure full body workouts. Very good honest info from one of the best. And no...I am not Phil.
