What was the question?  seriously, I have been using them to aid in meditation, inner healing, and they are very effective in helping me get into a deep state easier and faster. Sleep better too.

They probably do have a positive effect on mood . No real scientific papers to back it up in regards to triggering a release, just a whole lot of people promising everything from anti-aging, to extra height, etc.....
