Thomas Sowell - ever since I had a favourite Black guy, he has been it. Never thought I would have such a thing, but I do - and he's the man.

Larry Elder is awesome too.

The hilarious thing with Larry is that I swear that there are times when he wants to call his own people the N word, LOL. It's as if he wants to say it, but just can't bring himself to do it...likewise, in 2010, I was reading one of Thomas Sowell's books - whatever the newest one was, published around that year - and I swear he too wanted to call his own people the N word in his writing, haha. He was complaining about an issue in the Black community, and I'm certain that if not for the obvious need to subscribe to norms of politeness in a mainstream print publication, he would have addressed the Black community as "That bunch of N*ggers."
I'm not kidding - Larry Elder gets so frustrated attempting to make such simple points to leftists, and I just know he is just as aggravated with Black crime as the staunchest racist. I think Thomas Sowell somewhat is too - but he is 87 now, and obviously doesn't have the energy to get into a pissing match over it with someone!
I get the impression that Larry is a little self-hating...and not without reason. Despite appearances, I do not hate Black people. Not at all. I simply acknowledge that there is a racial disparity in IQ scores and in crime rates. Unfortunately, there is no polite way to say that. Sadly, Larry Elder and Thomas Sowell have both learned that even as Black men, they can't make comments critical of the Black community. While White males making the same points would be called racist, Elder and Sowell are simply ignored.

Compare this video of Larry Elder with anything newer that features him...he was so much more idealistic then. He was calmly and patiently trying to get his point across. Little did he know that decades later, and the same simple point still wasn't being understood by his opposition. So can definitely understand his frustration. And being called various epithets and names like "Uncle Tom" is really not cool.
Check out the difference in his demeanour between these two videos...it illustrates what I mean:
