Lately I've been seeing a lot of commercials about a show on A & E about Tupac Shakur. I remember little old Tupac dancing along with Humpty Hump and then a couple of years later...boom, he reinvented himself as this tough, gangster.
Was Tupac's persona created or was it real?
Now I now they are both dead but the song Sweet Home Alabama has been showing up a lot on Twtter because of whats happening. When you think of Lynyrd Skynyrd most of todays generation think of rednecks and the tribute band. But that's not really the truth.
Those guys in Skynyrd were poor, uneducated people that got a big break by working their asses off. Sure MCA wanted them to hang a southern flag in back of them in which they stopped doing in 1977 but lead singer Ronnie Van Zant was a tough SOB.
Ronnie suffered from small man syndrome and looked for fights a lot of the time. Sometimes he would get his ass beat but other times he kicked ass. Ronnie didn't go for any of that tranny bullshit. He was drunk one night in 1974 and took what he thought was a woman to his hotel room. Once he found out it wasn't a woman he beat the living shit outta the guy knocking two of his teeth out.
So...if both were living today who would win in a fight? Tupac could not use guns, Shug Knight or anyone or anything else for help.
I use Ronnie Van Zant because many people have no clue who he was and he has the same frame as Tupac.
STAY POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
