As someone semi involved in rap music and a fan from 1999 to 2010 or so, these rappers are cringe worthy and I'm not sure what happened to this industry. It's god awful, cliche, horrible talent, etc. in the 90s you had wutang and spin offs like Killarmy, mobb deep, etc. I don't even consider this video to show rapping. This is just ghetto dramatization for the sake of looking hard. They are just talking, zero mic cadence, pathetic rhyme structures that sound like a 5 yr old wrote it.
But I do agree, analyze any other lyrics from other genres and they are just as lame. But holy shit did rap take a huge nose dive into poor quality bullshit
