i told my sisters dont buy my shit and ill buy for your kids.. gave them all $50 gift cards(7 in total)( i never got that from my uncles). point is Christmas is about the kids not the adults. My sisters bought me gifts i got pissed... even thought i know they meant well... but i spent all my money on their kids.. and i felt guilty because i didnt buy them anything only for their kids... but they said you bought for our kids so its ok... man i felt like human garbage.. i hate Christmas...its really lost its meaning

Theres always that pussy adult in almost every family that either gets jealous or makes a big deal out of certain gifts. Analyzes things too much etc and just makes things full of drama or petty problems.

You're overreacting. You did the right thing by getting the kids gift cards. Next year you get the kids gift cards and small token gifts for your sisters. All good.

maybe some of us feel guilty? and cant afford to buy for 20 people...family and friends...id rather buy just for the kids... it means more to them
