Surprisingly, i estimate close to 45,000 people attended the expo on both days, with the main booth in one hall, and two other halls with various competition (Powerlifting was not in the same hall as the bodybuilding venue this time).  It was hard to walk around on Saturday... that busy...

WES,  Someplace up above you said, "I can`t believe that people still attend those expos!  Sad."

And that reminded me of a somewhat related story!

Back in 2001 the Fertitta brothers (owners of the Station Casinos here in Las vegas) bought into the  UFC for the tune of $2,000,000 dollars.

Another friend of mine was going to do likewise but deccided against doing so because of the possibe law suits that would occur among the injured participants.

As you probably already know ... the Fertitta brothers sold their UFC interest this past year for $4,000,000,000 (that's four billion US dollars!!)

That is a 2,000% gain over a 12 year period.

BUT to get to the point I am trying to make ..... This is debatable but it appears to me that the bodybuilding, fitness, etc. industry is growing somewhat similar and possibly faster than the martial arts industry has since 2001.

If you had the cash and the opportunity to invest in one of these worldwide bodybuilding/fitness organizations (if one were to be organized for doing so) .... would you make such an investment?

He does a lot of movies and they want him leaner. He actually told Rich that in one of his videos.

Rich was a great, genuine guy. He's been betrayed alot and always stayed the same. If he was more of a scumbag, he would have probably made twice the money. We definitely lost a good one.

To show how popular he was his videos are still receiving views. Total now 289,113,620 views.

I was there all weekend from opening to closing both days covering it and Saturday was busier, but Sunday was crowded, as well. Some videos already up on MuscleSportTV YouTube channel (quick ones that we put together quickly right there and posted) and post-production going on now with a shitload more.
