WES, Someplace up above you said, "I can`t believe that people still attend those expos! Sad."
And that reminded me of a somewhat related story!
Back in 2001 the Fertitta brothers (owners of the Station Casinos here in Las vegas) bought into the UFC for the tune of $2,000,000 dollars.
Another friend of mine was going to do likewise but deccided against doing so because of the possibe law suits that would occur among the injured participants.
As you probably already know ... the Fertitta brothers sold their UFC interest this past year for $4,000,000,000 (that's four billion US dollars!!)
That is a 2,000% gain over a 12 year period.
BUT to get to the point I am trying to make ..... This is debatable but it appears to me that the bodybuilding, fitness, etc. industry is growing somewhat similar and possibly faster than the martial arts industry has since 2001.
If you had the cash and the opportunity to invest in one of these worldwide bodybuilding/fitness organizations (if one were to be organized for doing so) .... would you make such an investment?
