My opinion. Trump went to great lengths when Obama was President to point out that any government shut down was solely on the back of the President. But since he has no character, when it comes to that being a potential result, he puts it on others..... In addition, Trump supporters, will find any number or stupid ways to rationalize how it's different now..

I'd say a good amount of your posts on the Politics Board are links to news sites with no input on how you feel. I'm not a mind reader, although I can infer from your leanings what you may think.

Not clicking but I'll assume it's a video showing how well Trump is adapting to being a politician. ALL politicians are artisan crafters of half truths by the way.

Well... Trump did promise to run the gov't like his businesses.   One year later, it's shutdown.

Don’t worry. It won’t stay shut down long. Politicians can’t risk the public figuring out how little we actually need them.

LOL

That didn’t take long.

Chuck Schumer
@SenSchumer
I am confident that there are sixty votes in the Senate for a DACA deal. And now there is a real pathway to get a bill on the floor and through the Senate. It is a good solution and I will vote for it.

Didn't you cry it was Obama's fault when it shut down under him?

So much for him being a deal maker.

As the shutdown moved into its third day, the New York Democrat and his party buckled as several Democrats backed a deal to end the shutdown in exchange for a Republican pledge to address the immigration debate in the near future.

Schumer quickly became a punching bag for the right and left.

"It's official: Chuck Schumer is the worst negotiator in Washington — even worse than Trump," said Murshed Zaheed, political director for the liberal group CREDO.

"Schumer caved," tweeted former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, an ally to President Donald Trump. He added, "Lessons learned — Schumer burned."

Schumer had little margin for error in this first major test of his muscle and maneuvering as leader.

Dazzle this. It was a Republican bill, it needed 60 votes to pass. The right voted to keep the Government running with 50 votes, the remaining were Dems that voted to shut it down. In other words, defund the Military, etc. to fight for Illegals instead of our own. McCain was out due to his illness but who the hell knows where he would have voted.

Now, I'm going to search the complete details of the 2013 shut down but I would venture to say there was no comparison.

If you blamed Obama (and you did) then you blame Trump.  Unless you are a hypocrite (and you are.)

You haven't overcome it yet.  Imagine that.  Or not.  Seeing how imagination requires some form of cognitive functioning to take place as well.

Safe to say that no one will mistake your drivel for anyone else's material.
