AJ should beat Parker but hes being a pussy towards Wilder. A restraining order against him to not get in the ring? He's afraid of Wilder.

And yes, allegedly Dana is offering 500 million for a multifight deal.

Anyway, untIL Joshua signs, he's a pussy

Heavyweight is the only division that matters because there are no weight classes in the streets or in life.  That said, these guys are acting like a soap opera.  Everyone avoiding each other.  It's not the skill that's lacking these days it's the old school mentality.  I think Joshua wins by UD this weekend.  I think Joshua would TKO Wilder in the middle rounds or whenever he caught him.  Fury may come back but who knows.  Trey Lippe, Tommy Morrisons kid is coming up and he has his fathers punching power.  Other noteable guys are Daniel Dubois, Jarell Miller and Laron Mitchell who was a good amateur.

No longer a fight fan but am always somewhat interested in related pro boxing 'stuff' such as the winner of this event will receive $2,452,727.89.

Is that even close to the actual winning purse? It appears to be somewhat on the low side.

Here are the contenders ....

Why would he be afraid of Wilder? What has Wilder done that would make AJ unwilling to fight him? It's only recently that Wilder has actually fought decent opponents and he's been a pro for a decade now.

LOL you only have to look at the opponents that aj and wilder have fought to realise the bolded is complete nonsense. wilder has not fought an even remotely live opponent yet in nearly 40 fights . whereas aj has fought a legend- klitscho and is now taking on another champion. wilder is a complete fraud. would get destroyed by aj, fury and probably even parker. if he ever actually dares to get in the ring with a 'real' opponent (which is doubtful)

ps forget about wilder's last fight with ortiz (who was a semi reasonable opponent). all the rest on his record are bums.

yep. joshua fought a very cautious fight. controlled the fight and won nearly every round but didn't take any risks. didn't make for the most exciting fight. but with huge fights against wilder and fury on the horizon can't blame him.

wilder has no more than a puncher's chance against aj, he can't win a single round. aj technically is on a different planet.

The ref was horrible and kept getting in the middle of them, not allowing any inside work. Agree that Joshua won, but it was closer than the judges cards had it. I thought it was 116-112 or 117-111 for Joshua.

Sadly boxing is getting to be very similar in some ways

The nonsense of having 5+ Men Claiming to be World Champions at any given weight class  ::)

It was a good boxing match, not a fight.  Ref sucked.  Both guys fought disciplined fights.  Credit to Joshua for controlling the style of fight.  Credit to Parker for having an anvil for a chin.  Joshua landed some fight ending check hooks and upper cuts.  Parker didn't budge.  He's got that David Tua/Samoan granite chin.

Parker had never been dropped in the Amateurs or Pros and fought at negative fight off the back foot.  From the get go it wasn't going to be a fan friendly fight.

Didn't watch it, but from what I've read Joshua was the clear winner, but the fight was competitive with Parker taking some of the middle rounds.  Parker is a very good boxer, much better than Wilder.  The learning experience in the Klitschko fight was invaluable for Joshua and he will be very very difficult to beat from here on out.  He has learned how to stay out of harms way and with his height and physical size, it's going to be tough for someone to get inside and hurt him.  Wilder will need to come out hard and hope to land something early, but I just don't see it happening.  I think Joshua will KO Wilder somewhere in between rounds 5-9.  This fight was on showtime in the US which sucks....I literally know not one person who has showtime.  I hope the Joshua/Wilder fight, if made, is on HBO or ESPN.

Question for the UK guys, is the skybox channel pay per view?
