I knew that Rich was a nice guy from the first day I met him - who lets some skinny geek in a tank top interview him out of the blue like this? I honestly wonder if the people trashing him actually ever met him, or bothered to speak to him at all. He was a tolerant and agreeable person.Given that speaking for five minutes made Rich get short of breath, I feared for his health from that day on...keep in mind he was 297-lb during the Mr. Olympia expo in 2012 as seen here...but despite his health choices, he was a friendly guy to speak with. Also, consider that he did have what has been termed "Bigorexia" - the male version of anorexia...and it IS a disease/disorder - just one that nobody cares about since it almost exclusively affects men.
Yada yada... He still died at 47 which is not very cool at all. What really did him in? Was it to much roids? Pain pills? Adderal? Ive never really got a good answer.Rip Rich
