Really?  I think it is so-so.  There is a skate park in Central FL that used to be an outdoor water park.  They turned the water slides, floating rivier and various pools into skate areas.  It was open about 3 years and then it closed due to too many injuries.

LURKER, Yep ... Injuries and the threat of injuries  have closed or prevented a good number of skate-board paks.

Back in the day that was true for tramboline parks as well.

They all closed down and never bounced back.

I'm a bit surprised that Venice has one.

Yeah.  The one I was referring to was insane.  They had a giant foam pit with sponge/foam walls behind it for the skaters that would drop down the speed water slide.  They had to be going 35mph by the time they shot out the bottom and crashed into all the foam.
