Name the NRA member that was a mass shooter. I'll wait. These shootings didn't happen 35 years ago. It's a society problem. A millennial problem. I also believe kids are medicated with too many drugs for mental illness that has too many unknown side effects that is an unknown. At the high school by my house they use to have a rifle club. Kids bought in their rifles to target shoot. No one ever thought about shooting anyone.

Well, here is few weeks old but quite educational point of view about the school shootings:

Point you miss at your comment is simple: 5) Kids AREN'T TAUGHT how to deal with bullies. = so true it isn't even funny...but the kids are bullies, and it isn't for kids to deal with the bullies, it is something which adults should do, you know, parents, teachers etc. By beating the bullies until they crap on themselves you can stop all school shootings, and it is far better way to deal with the matter than any gun laws would be. This shooter were rejected, bullied etc. poor bastard who deal with his problems by mass murder. What would have happen if his friends & school buddies would have treat him differently? If these kids would have learn to respect other people, would this have happen?

kids are generally becoming antisocial. They don't know what to do with themselves if they aren't staring into a phone screen or video game console screen, etc...Think of the hours spent on these things from an extreemly youge age. Couple that with antidepressants and you have lobotomized sociopaths on your hands.

Anyone over 40 can tell you our upbringings were worlds apart from newer ones. How we were taught to handle life, the things we were exposed to, the activities we were signed up for, the expectations on us, the socialization, that's all gone.

Now, boys are taught to not be themselves, girls are pushed into men's roles. Up is down, left is right. Christ, any underdeveloped brain under all these conditions is bound to snap. As an adult I can barely wrap my mind around what the hell is being pumped out. lol

We need to secure schools now. We do it to a lot of other buildings that have valuable people and things in it. You can't just waltz into an NBA arena with weapons.

A school is a soft target and they know that they will face little to no resistance for at least 10 minutes. Plenty of time to waste a bunch of your calssmates and then off yourself.
