#12 Jesse Lee Peterson is the ultimate uncle tom and has the name of a fucking hillbilly.
I assume you are of color or a minority of some sort based on your posts....not a slam, just an observation. What I don't understand is why such people disparage someone, and call them derogatory names for preaching self-responsibility, integrity, honesty, and accountability? So basically you're insulting him for being a good man who doesn't leach off of others?
If I were black, I honestly would find much more hope and inspiration from the words of people like him, Tatum, Candace, and others than I would ever get from people like Farracon, Jackson, Obama, Sharpton, and now Kamala. They are all frauds selling you on being a lesser person, and you have bought into what they are selling. People see you for how you present yourself. If you're always feeling belittled and entitled, they feel threatened as if your viewing them as someone who's obligated to give you something you have not earned.....respect.
I think you're a good dude at heart, but I don't understand where you are coming from a lot of times. Find new circles of people to hang out with if you're being treated as second class. Do things that make people see you as "Abraham" the person, not whatever skin tone you might have. Go out of your way to meet people that are different from you, and have conversations with them, and while doing so ask questions to find out what you have in common vs. what makes you feel different. Your perspective on the world will surely change, because the level of racism and oppression you seem to think exists.....in fact, does not.
The only thing that can hold any man back is lack of funds, and themselves. Work to get the funds whiled you're still in good health and young, and a great life will follow. You will likely encounter assholes along the way, but you will find that as you grow as a person they will matter less and less to you. I assure you as a white straight male, we encounter plenty of shitty people, and deal with many difficult things in life as well.
