People make it sound like Arnold was the star of that movie. He really wasn't. Other than a few poignant moments where he pretends to understand the child actor's human emotions, he was basically a a humorless robot in an oversized body.

Robert Patrick showed a wide range of acting acumen in the film and was indisputably more scary and dangerous than Arnold. It's not even close. Without him, the movie would've been an expensive flop.

gotta concur. Arnold was perfectly cast though for his "acting talent".
