This thread made me stumble across this old SI article...  a bit more detail on the Fox double murder. but also a run through of other 'shenanigans' of the period... :P

I remember most of the sh1t-show from that time, but I'd nearly forgotten about the Kimbrough murder...

And what's this about Lou Ferrigno punching out a woman's windshield in a Hulk-rage LOL?  :o

I never knew the Ferrigno story :). Most of those type of car stories seem to get attributed to Alzado and The Barbarian Brothers.  The Gordon Kimbrough one was pretty big here, then fizzled fast. They did get a short bit on on of our crime shows not too long ago -

.

Kimbrough got paroled not too long ago, and was part of some prisoners rights groups till he got chased into obscurity by angry victims rights advocates.

Cool.

That Bertil doc was shown in the early 2000s on Channel 4 ,which is a British terrestrial(US: network?) station.

This Schwarzenegger doc highlighting his early career in Britain, shown on the same channel, was pretty decent too.

Seems some producer or commissioning editor working at Channel 4 during that time, was a fan of bodybuilding.
