At his ultimate peak, he would never and I mean NEVER beat Jon Jones, DC or probably even Cain.

I don't know about that. Hes nowhere near the athlete Jones is, but neither is anyone else, save GSP. Fedor is similar to DC in that his appearance is unassuming but it would be an interesting fight.

I forgot how fast his hands were in his prime. The fact that he's relentless with a deep gas tank would be the hardest obstacle for DC or Jones to overcome.

Silly talk.  He is not on Jones and DC's level.  Not even close.

i think he could but yeah you can argue those guys would beat him more often than not

he was easily the best of his time from about 2002 - 2009

What is considered DC's prime? He seems to have gotten better with age, but i'm sure it's only because it's taken years for him to be noticed.

thats a good Question and a tough one, if we are talking about a 29-30 year old fedor he had a excellent near complete all round game that fedor was very comfortable on the ground incredibly explosive and his submissions were brutal as was his foot work and hand speed even now @ 42 his explosive hand speed and power is still good but doesn’t possess the ground game anymore he looks awkward and his balance isn’t there for obvious reasons (age injuries wear n tear etc)

I’d give the edge too fedor over Cormier in their primes due too how he WAS back then.

The smart money IMO will be on Ryan badar too defeat fedor in the final only due too the age factor in fedor however you can really never count out even a long past his prime fedor, the one chink badar has is he’s been finished before bye heavy punchers and that’s the one thing a 42 year old fedor still possesses...his punch wether or not he can catch badar is another matter.
