You're right, I don't spend time thinking about things that aren't true or possible or based in reality.
A few illegals get by semi-normally because they've lived in the country for years and have a kind of double life but a steady income and they pay taxes as a type of political cover once another amnesty comes up.
But most struggle to find work and quite a few turn to petty crime or begging just to get by. Most can't find consistent work. Any kind of 'legal' work is pretty hard as well now because of the E-Verify systems almost all employers use other than tiny mom & pop-sized businesses. So yeah, basically, a good number of them won't get anywhere due to the already large amount of people here illegally who are out of work.
