Every now and then I pick up a bodybuilding magazine. I saw this new one today called Reps and I figured I would give it a shot. Sweet Jesus this thing is bad. I'm about 1/4th of the way through it and it seems like something that was put out on accident.
Example: p.17, #1 common mistake is not stretching before workout: "the muscles and tendons need to be warmed up to prevent injury (I thought this was discredited years ago and mentioned in every issue of every magazine by now)
p.37, here is a description of why treadmills are good: "While the scenery on a treadmill may be rather stactic (sic), the benefits"
That was it. They didn't even finish the sentence!
p.49, meal example for new bodybuilders: 7:30 PM - 16 oz. salmon, medium sweet potato, green salad with fat-free dressing"
Who the hell eats a pound of salmon in one out of 7 meals?
Then this dude is making shakes with kidney beans in them too.
