Flu shots are subsidized bc the combined cost of a flu shot for everyone is less than the cost of treating a flu epidemic.  80,000 people DIED last year from the flu, imagine how many would have died if there was no vaccine at all.  Not to mention the untold thousands of people that were hospitalized but managed to survive.

Vaccines are so effective nowadays we take them for granted and come up with loony bin theories about them.  It's this kind of thinking that's leading to measles outbreaks among young children in the year of our Lord 2018--in one of the most advanced countries in the world.  Jesus wept.

Thank god! Finally a voice of reason. People forget, or more likely never knew, how devastating polio, measles, chicken pox, whopping cough... was to society before vaccines.

Insulin is cheap. Use to buy it for my dog at the pharmacy. Why should any tax payer pay for someone else's prescriptions?  Most diabetes are adult onset from being fat.  It's a self caused disease for most diabetics.

The flu shot is an educated calculated guess on what strains will be going going around any given  season. Yes, sometimes they get that wrong. No flu shot protects against all strains.

On another topic but related I'm tired of people with colds saying they have the flu. If you have the flu you are in bed not telling people at work you have the flu.  Two years ago I had the flu and had a fever of 104 and over for 5 days. After it broke I developed pneumonia and ended up in the hospital so weak, sick and shedding weight fast. From that experience I can see how the flu kills.

The HPV vaccine protects against the a few of the deadly strains that can turn into cancer. It doesn't protect against all strains.

If the internet was around when the Polio vaccine came out very few would have gotten it.

The cost of insulin has sky rocketed in the last 5 years. What use to cost $35 now is $135. Only Walmart sells R and N for $25-$30.

Does nobody remember how lethal a flu epidemic was before vaccines and how lethal they are in poor countries that don't have access to vaccines?

Is everyone even remotely aware of how much R&D and testing goes into a vaccine before coming to market?

And exactly who are in the government that gives the orders to poison old people and who are the people that passively comply? Do they have a separate the vaccine or is it all poison design to "slow kill" you? Do all the scientists and pharmacist that develop the vaccine in on this euthanasia and not one has come forward? They are all comfortable being part of the grand plan to mass murder old people?

Why would that follow? North Korea is perpetual misery for most of their people but it's nowhere near anarchy. Life here in America is not how life is for most of the world. We take so much for granted. My mother, who is from a third world country, would turn on the water faucet and tell us we have no idea of the life saving miracle we just witness.

Agreed with us being very fortunate where we live as opposed to third world countries.  The solution is more capitalism (for those countries) but the left wants to bring socialism to us.
