good thing cop didnt get shot. twice the size of the guy, yet struggle to get him down. didnt notice he has hand in pocket all the time. first day on the job?

In hindsight it's odd that this picture didn't give us all cause for concern back in the day.  I've never owned a gun, I but grew up around them and had/have friends that are "gun nuts" so I had easy access.  Never once did I or anyone I know get shirtless, put on a bullet-proof vest, grab several multi-round mags and a glock, and say "hey, take my pic brah!" 

You have to be a little off kilter to want to take this pic even if you just keep it to yourself.  Posting it on the net afterward?!  Coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs!  Really grabbing at straws man to pull off the tough guy image.

And the liberal media detests law enforcement, not realizing that they have to put up with constant bullshit and something like this a few times in a career, all for an average income at best (depending on the area and jurisdiction).
One of my buddies recently resigned from NYS police and went back to being a CO.  He said that the extra pay wasn't worth the horrible schedule and dealing with the public.  Keep in mind NYS troopers are some of the highest paid in the country, and make well over 100k.
