Nope.  Not familiar at all but that's to be expected since I did somewhat mourn the passing of Peter Tork of the Monkees.

Well said, brother!  I know people called them the "Pre-Fab Four" but they had some great pop hits written by the Brill Building gang, David Gates and more. I still enjoy their music today.  ;D

RIP Peter Tork.

I saw the Monkees in concert in 2015 and Peter seemed fine.

I knew he had cancer a few years ago, but they said it was gone.  

Once you have cancer, it never really goes away.  It can go into remission, but most of the time it comes back with a vengeance.  The treatment of cancer is big bu$iness.  Why cure it?
