I worked in professional wrestling early in my life.
Most of these people are nice guys with no unrealistic visions of grandeur, who accept pro-wrestling for what it is: a scripted childhood pastime/form of entertainment that is essentially comprised of grown men in spandex underwear pretending to fight.
The glory days of the past are just that: IN THE PAST.
You don’t just make a connection, get your backstage pass, and earn $4,000/week in a territory anymore.
Most guys spend more on the “hobby” than they make…
Which is fine, so long as you understand and accept that that’s probably all it will ever be.
Hold down a full-time job with benefits, earn enough to pay your expenses, and "if" there's enough time & money left over, then you can do this bullshit on the weekends if it floats your boat.
