I'm glad to see such strong software development in Europe and Asia.

When large companies like Microsoft and Google try to equalize the male to female ration they create a weakness smaller companies can exploit.  The smaller software companies aren't under as much affirmative action pressure and are free to hire only the best.  Often the best programmers don't make it through the HR departments at the larger companies.

Mixed military would inevitably lead to romances that would lead to troubles while engaging the enemy.
Breaches in chain of command etc.
