Wikileaks published the Hillary/DNC/Podesta email fiasco.  Without this guy, we'd have no idea about these backstage machinations and Hillary would be president right now.  If you're a Trump guy think on that before you condemn him for releasing information.

Without this guy, Snowden would never have been able to tell the world that there is a universal surveillance program.  Check the wikipedia page for a list of terrifying things the world would never have learned about without The Gigantic Brass Balls of Julian Assange, who felt a responsibility to put his head in the lion's mouth to let us know what's up.

Imo the US will give itself a black eye if it pursues charges.  Or if Assange gets hit by a car, or has an accident while in custody, or gets struck by fucking lightening.

I can't speak for all Trump supporters, but this one thinks he's one of the few modern day heroes of the world for all of the things he's exposed and that goes way b4 Trump.  Snowden is a hero in my opinion too.  True to the nation's citizens, and said fuck you to our corrupt government.  I think he should be pardoned, and allowed to live his life.  Unfortunately, he'd never be able to do so in the states without being hunted down though so he's probably best staying putin Russia (haha )

I don't know quite what to think of this guy. I am glad he did what he did during the last election, but I keep hearing the side of the story where he put troops in danger, etc. and it is hard to gloss over that. He has done a lot of important things, no doubt.

Well, if Obama hadn't figured out "Turns out, I'm really good at killing people" via drones ("It") might never have leaked the info to wiki.  I agree with what you're saying, and that's my biggest self-critique at calling him a hero, but if we're doing shady and immoral shit it should be exposed.  If not for wiki, then what outlet would "chelsea" have used?  It would have gotten back to "her" superiors and "she" would have been quietly executed in my opinion.
