Maybe you didnt notice but hes wearing an Animal brand shirt, so he definitely lifts.

Odd looking, but may feel OK for us old and injured. The MAG bars are great for me, did back this AM.
No pain in the forearm/elbow tie-in when using the MAG's. (The way the hand sits is key).

If no injuries, regular bars have always been fine for me. With torn "tennis-elbow" tendon, the grip finally matters.
