In an early 2001 issue of FLEX Magazine, Nasser El Sonbaty stated that he was getting his heart, lungs, and liver checked 2-3 times per year, and that he was very healthy.

^ Close enough to what was stated, albeit the print date may have been late 2000 [but I don't think so], and the organs may have been different.

Someone said Nasser looked...either grumpy or dopey, which they thought meant either liver or kidney damage.

It was a Peter McGough writeup, and he said "The only thing I call Nasser, who competes at 285-lb, is "Sir"".

Leading me to believe that bodybuilders can fight.

This is from memory, but close enough.

It was my first rip-off that bodybuilding wasn't healthy. Why get your organs tested multiple times per year, if you are participating in something healthy?

I hope you are right about these guys. Being 450-lb does not bode well for a long lifespan.

I think you mentioned enlarged hearts earlier. That's left ventricular hypertrophy which can be reversed with weight loss. If guys are being checked by good Dr's these meds can control LVH.


Blood pressure medication can help prevent further enlargement of the left ventricle and even shrink your hypertrophic muscles.

Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. These medications widen blood vessels to lower blood pressure, improve blood flow and decrease the heart's workload. Examples include captopril, enalapril (Vasotec) and lisinopril (Zestril). Side effects might include an irritating dry cough.

Angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). Medications such as losartan (Cozaar) have benefits similar to ACE inhibitors but don't cause a persistent cough.

Calcium channel blockers. These medications prevent calcium from entering cells of the heart and blood vessel walls, resulting in lower blood pressure. Examples include amlodipine (Norvasc) and diltiazem (Cardizem, Tiazac).

Diuretics. Medications known as thiazide-type diuretics can facilitate blood flow, lowering hypertension. Examples include chlorthalidone and hydrochlorothiazide.

Beta blockers. Medications such as atenolol (Tenormin) can lower your heart rate, reduce blood pressure and prevent some of the harmful effects of stress hormones. Beta blockers aren't usually given as an initial treatment for hypertension. Your doctor might recommend adding a beta blocker if another type of medication isn't effective alone.

I somewhat understand holding WSM in hot locations...in that it makes it more extreme [albeit... medically unsafe?]...but why deprive the competitors of event knowledge? And why wait a month to months to release the footage??

Nice to see so many strong WHITE guys at WSM. Gives you hope that the white race has not turned into one giant cucked, weak group of people. The media companies would have you believe whites are incompetent, weak, nerdy etc. - at least if you look at the ads they put out these days. It's pathetic and a retaliation is long overdue. These anti-white scum need to be taken down a peg or two.

Great post! Completely agree. Whites are the strongest - there are some notable Black strongman [Mark Felix, and previously, OD Wilson], but that's like cherry-picking Christophe Lemaitre for top White sprinters.

On average, Caucasians are the strongest. Watching WSM makes it clear to me why, at one point, Caucasians controlled 85% of the globe's territory, and we're the only race who ever had the power to wipe out every other race on the planet [if divershitty continues...we will regret having not done this].

Being half-English, I am disgusted at the level of cuckery in England today. They once controlled 23% of the globe! Disgraceful. They let the Muslim rape of children go on interrupted over fear of being called racist from 1999 to 2016! Meanwhile, White TEENAGERS are being arrested for Tweets!
