The private sector can handle that.  You could make a large fortune by solving a problem of that magnitude and a lot of people are trying.  Elon Musk is one major player.

What we should not do is impose harsh regulations on individuals and businesses.  Those are solely intended to punish and loot money from us, and they will have an extremely negative impact on our economy.

No one has done more to clean the environment, increase the food supply for less cost, and improve the quality of life in this world than America. One of the reasons why America is always targeted as the source of all the woes in the world is that because we actually listen and allow free speech. People are allowed to investigate, implicate, and criticize the U.S. Try go to Russia, China, North Korea, or India and see how you get. The biggest polluters and destroyers of this planet are left untouched because they are blissfully unmoved by their detractors. They don't give a crap about and laugh at the idea that a child is lecturing adults on how to run the world and these adults actually give her their attention.
