I'm inclined to go with Beterbiev. Gvodzyk did not look great in his last fight at all and was being badly outboxed until the other dude broke his ankle. But Beterbiev has a much different style that would be better made for Gvodzyk. Beterbiev has been fairly inactive over the past few years. Tough call but I give the edge to Beterbiev.

Excellent fight!  Bivol's team turned him down already.  He's still too live even at 34.  Canelo beats Kovalev, is vacating and getting the hell out of 175.  Definitely the best in the division and should be the 3rd undisputed fighter unless they try to hold the belts up for 2-4 yrs on him.  Defense is a bit leaky but he does shade a lot of shots you think hit cleanly. Stats (jabs, body shots (beterbiev really under-rated, etc.)) were almost identical and Gvoz was supposed to be the superior boxer.

Beterbiev is very, very good.  Could be the best light heavy in the world.  I thought Gvodzyk was slightly overrated anyways.  I think Kovalev is going to cement his status as the top light heavy by beating Canelo two weeks from tonight.
