I don't understand what the hostility is for? Bay is a cool guy. He has given me good academic/career advice in the past. He is gay, so what? People aren't defined by their sexual orientation.

Agreed, I may not agree with his sexual preferences, but I'm not here to play judge and condemn the man either. Hey, he likes comic books so we got a connection....cool broski!

How do I do that? As simply as I posted above.

Doesn't make sense? All can do is provide a quickly googled defintion of "agree".....hope it's helpful.

But that is like saying, you don't agree with him being black. It's the same thing and that would not make sense.

I assume you believe that homosexuality is built into the genetic code and people have no choice in the matter hence my agreement on anyone's sexual preference is pointless and nonsensical.....I get it, it's the science. Yet other science suggests the "gay gene" science is bologna. Who's science is better? Who wins? Just leave the sheepish Christian to his ignorant religious pursuits.

Yup.

On a side note, why would anyone choose to be gay? It is much easier in most respects being hetero, so if it were a choice, it would be a foolish one.

I don't honestly know why anyone would choose to be gay? I also don't know why some of the men I know chose to be with some of the women they are. Further, I don't know why anyone would choose to ride a bull, teach kindergarten or enter a dogshow.

Keith Whitley passed away near 10 years ago. Heart attack. I used to be in contact with him in the late 90's. He lived in Garland,TX. Suburb of Dallas. Good guy. Was a history teacher for quite a while. You can find his obituary online if you look for it. Great bodybuilder.
