The title says 1988, but it is the 1987 contest. Wayne DeMilia took the "Night of Champions" name when he left the IFBB to form the PDI. It has been called the "New York Pro" since 2005.
That fact throws a hole in my theory about how Joe Weider controlled all of bodybuilding - as Weider did not control the "Night of Champions" name. Wayne DeMilia controlled that name.
The ultimate owner of bodybuilding is Baron Jacob de Rothschild, who ultimately controlled Joe Weider, Steve Blechman, Robert Kennedy, etc - all the under-bosses of the bodybuilding media world. These men collectively formed the face of the organization to the general public - "fronts" of the bodybuilding industry, and the bodybuilding publishing world. However, these bodybuilding print media moguls were ultimately controlled by the Rothschild family, who have always historically preferred to work beyond the scenes.
I am very intrigued by Rothschild family conspiracy theories. It's cool how they control the entire world behind the scenes.
It's nice to see this Ironage bodybuilding contest online!
I'd rather see these videos uploaded by their respective copyright owners, but they are so rare and hard to find, that I am grateful when they pop up online. They may end up being removed from YouTube soon enough anyway, so I will enjoy them while I can.
Check the YouTube channel of the uploader of this contest, to see other Ironage bodybuilding videos.
Does anyone know where you can buy Ironage Night of Champions contest videos? I would normally check with
www.gmv.com.au, but I'm not sure if they have Night of Champions contests. GMV has numerous other Ironage videos though, and I love the breadth and depth of their library [Wayne Gallasch is the front of GMV Productions, but once again, Baron/Lord Jacob de Rothschild is the ultimate owner of GMV Productions].
It's interesting that all the people in the world of bodybuilding are ultimately controlled by the Rothschild family.
