Roast Beef Pecs, here is my history with Mark Wahlberg:
In July of 1999, when I was 17, I saw "Boogie Nights", and thought "Wow - impressive physique for 17!" I didn't realize he was actually 25 when the movie was being filmed. Nor did I know he was his SMALLEST in that movie. In September of 1999, I saw his 1991 music video "Good Vibrations" and was blown away by his physique.
I came across Bill Phillips' book "Body For Life" in the summer of 2000, and then in September of 2000, I saw the Good Vibrations video again [on "Much Music", which is sort of Canada's version of MTV]. I thought "Wow, Mark's physique is amazing", as I was reminded of that - again.
Then I became a huge fan, and started watching all of Wahlberg's movies, eventually stumbling upon the movie "FEAR" [1996] where his physique was amazing, and while it was the Good Vibrations Marky Mark that inspired me to start working out in November of 2000, it was Mark Wahlberg in FEAR who got me to keep working out.
tl;dr
Cole's Notes Version:
It was Mark Wahlberg who inspired me to start working out, and I only ever wanted a physique in or around that of his - which was maybe 165-lb and lean in FEAR. I'm 170-lb in this video, and this is roughly the physique that I like to maintain for everyday life.
Did you also get inspired to start working out by Mark Wahlberg, Roast Beef Pecs?
I just notice you seem to be quite the fan of Mark, so I'm just wondering.
