Coronavirus - How is everyone competing or training in 2020???

So whats everyone's opinion on competing in 2020?  Both Amateur and Pros?  I know evan's dialing in for the NY Pro in may as we speak.  So since the diet and protocol changes precontest, Is it worth it to run your compounds get hard, dry, vascular, grainy, dieted down and have your bodybuilding show cancelled?  Again both PRO and Amateur so IFBB and NPC.  I guess theres always photoshoots for what instagram?  I wonder how this virus is going to change the 2020 season, maybe shut it down and go into an entire year long off season now?  I would assume gyms are gonna be hard to find open soon.   Has coronavirus come for our gainz!?!?!?!?

I'm going to compete in The Corona Pro 2020 which is held in Milan. (Finals will be held in Wuhan, China)

I think all competitors should send in a written 250 word or less personal statement on how they look on the day of the contest to the judges.  This should allow the judges to do the same job they do every year and place people where they need to be.  I think sending in pics shouldn’t be allowed as they can be doctored to make the athlete look the way they would have hoped to look on stage on that particular day.

This would allow individual lighting conditions set up by the competitor for best results, maybe not the worst idea in the world.  The camera and lighting work for almost all televised bodybuilding is horrible.  The camera operators have no idea what to focus on or what shot to go with.  I know someone who does this for auto races and there is definitely an art to it, achieved through lots of experience.

For a visual medium, we are doing very poorly overall, particularly in such a time of video technology surplus.  Maybe some good on this front will come out of the self distancing ...

I've been in offseason for over a year now so the thought of extending my offseason isn't an appealing one.  I'm assuming by the time late June rolls around I'll be able to compete somewhere.  The goal is to do better than I've ever done at a national show but if I'm better than ever, no matter where I compete, that will be a small victory.
