Former San Francisco 49ers executive dies...
« on: March 18, 2020, 12:00:30 PM »
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/03/18/former-49ers-assistant-and-executive-bill-mcpherson-dies-at-88/

Is this Coronavirus related? Is the NFL trying to cover up that this was Coronavirus related?

Are we, as a nation, going to do anything to halt the deaths of the elderly or are we going to let them die while we sit in our homes?

Yes, we need to stop 90 year olds from dying.

That is priority #1.  No matter what it costs!

Once we get a handle on the 90 year olds we'll go to work on the 100 year olds.

It's insane. Old people die everyday from one thing or the other. It should not be a big deal. Many of us have lived rich full lives. The real tragedy is when people die before they have the chance to experience life.

;D About 100 years ago people were expected to die in their 60's. Wow how far we have come. I am sure your 100 y/o figure is not too far off :)

IronNat you don’t understand, if the elderly are all admitted to the hospital at the same time we will run out of beds, the ensuing madness will HALT the economy.

We can’t afford for this to happen.

We will be forced to load our tractor trailers with scrap and sell it for an insane profit, because people won’t know the truth.

The economy has halted and worse, it's actually going the wrong way. Maybe you didn't notice.

It's a temporary blip Prime. I remember when 9/11 hit and my business dropped 50% in the tech sector. 6 months later my sales were double what they were a year earlier. Same happened with the collapse of the telecom sector.

All the nervous nellies out there that think this is the end of the world can't be much older than 30. Have we forgotten the banking collapse of 2008-9? Seriously? I lost $100K overnight on my stock portfolio. Got robbed of $35K from Lehman Brothers alone. This current shit will all blow over.

You know why? Because 300 million people in the USA still have to eat, drink and poop. That takes effort my friend.

The life expectancy is going down.

Mortality or longevity? Two different things. Longevity has in fact steadily increased. Mortality takes in account death by any means, including suicide, drive by shootings, bodybuilders taking too much stuff, etc.

The life span for humans has been the same for hundreds of years.

When people die earlier then they might otherwise have as a result of something like a pandemic, it lowers life expectancy. Life expectancy is based on averages.

This we must not stop until no one dies of anything..... We live in logical times.
