Trump prepares Americans for extended coronavirus lockdown.

With the United States entering its 15th day of lockdown Monday and the death toll soaring, President Trump steeled the nation late Sunday for an extended shutdown, dashing hopes of a quick resumption of normal life.

The global number of confirmed cases topped 700,000 on Sunday, with over one in seven in the United States.

On Sunday evening, President Trump said federal guidance urging social distancing will stay in place through April 30. He backed off of his hope that the country will be “opened up” by Easter Sunday, saying that deaths due to the coronavirus will likely peak in two weeks.

Oh so when Trump said March 30, then Easter, he just didn't know what he was talking about?  Imagine that.

Many science nerds and doctors have predicted that the US as a whole will not even peak with the covid19 until late July.

Better not cancel the netflix account boys...

Im truly loving the isolation and now going out for rides and the roads are empty.Its great.i day lockdown the country till June 1.although I think we should get back to business as usual I’m loving the quiet streets and calmness of the world.Feels like what I imagine the 50’s were like.
